Looking forward to seeing you in New York City on May 22! You may be surprised to learn that NYC has an active bluegrass scene. What a great bitrhday present! (My birthday is May 21). Robin, from Brooklyn NY

Have to say you all look well in new photos, when are you coming to the Naul in Dublin to the Seamus Ennis Centre?

Hi E.Morgan--You're referring to the opening act that night for the Charley Pride show...Charley Pride is definitely country! That particular band name has been around since 1968--so as you would expect, personnel comes and goes. But the name is now owned by Barry Palmer from Cleveland, GA who was playing banjo that night and who is also a member of the staff band in Hiawassee. Glad to hear you like acoustic/traditional/bluegrass/country!

Do Not Post. I was in Hiawasee Sat.[4/12];I was told there that the band was Blue-grass Alliance. Online that seemed to be a different band except for the name Nation. You don't expect to see/hear anything acoustic anymore,it was a Definite surprise Sat. when they went onstage.I like 'Traditional','Mountain',(label?)and Bluegrass as well as Country[when you could still find"Country"]. I gotta share this one with you. A Lady from St. Charles, La. called me the Col. Tom Parker of Bluegrass. She didn't sign it??
